Chief Information Officer

Tyson Mckay joined Southwest Network in December 2022 as our Chief Information Officer (CIO). Tyson's proactive approach continued at Brigham Young University Hawaii, where he played a pivotal role in developing essential coursework, equipping himself and future students for the evolving demands of the industry. Armed with a BSc in Information Technology, he gained valuable experience in a prominent law firm in Mesa, fueling his passion for technology and business strategy. While attending University, his leadership style earned him the role of president of the university’s largest student organization for two years. This role included providing direction, training, leadership, and activities for over 250 students.

With over 25 years of experience spanning North America and driven by dual citizenship, Tyson seamlessly blended technological prowess and business acumen as he develops systems that enhance and protect business assets. Specializing in IT strategy and leadership, he developed a mentor-style approach that benefits colleagues, companies, and individuals alike. Most recently he was instrumental in re-architecting an entire IT team along with supporting infrastructure with a large Behavioral Health Organization in Arizona. During this project he focused on developing enterprise level IT systems to enable managers to be more proactive and supportive of front-line staff.
